I havn’t got my bike stolen since I was like 10. Who really even steals a bike anymore? Get this. I havn’t been to church (on my own will) in I cant even remember how long. I asked my wife today if she wanted to go. She agreed and I thought it would be a good idea to ride the bikes to church. It takes about 10 mins to ride the bikes to church and it takes about 20 mins to drive.

It was a nice ride to church and we arrived about 10 mins late. We stayed for the whole thing, even after communion. We even decided to stay for the lighting ceramony after mass. When we walked back to the bikes, i jokingly said to my wife that the bikes are gone, only to realize in the next 10 steps that they were actaully gone. I locked them together and everything. WHAT THE FUCK! Number 1:Who the hell steals a bike. Number 2: Who the hell steals a bike at a Church! Number 3: Who the hell steals a bike at a Church a week before Christmas!!!?

So we had to walk back. 2 1/2 miles in the dark. What kind of world do we live in. This is such crap. I mean, i’ve had bikes stolen before, but like I said before, I was 10. Whoever took them really did me a favor anyway. The bikes were on our back pourch taking up space. I guess to be a bigger man, I have to say maybe it was a father who took the bikes and gave them to his kids for christmas who will make them very happy. They will get better use out of the bikes than I will. OR maybe I should start stalking the schools and ebay looking for the bikes and when I find them…well, use your imagination. “What the heck would YOU do in a stiuation like that”.

I still can’t figure out if I’m still pissed off that my bike got stolen, or if I’m pissed off that I was so fuking gullable enough that I would leave my bike unattended at a church a week before christmas and expect that they would NOT get stolen. I guess we just have to realize that we live in this kind of world and accept it.
